How To Make An Effective Podcast

September 29 - September 30
Frontline Club, 3 Norfolk Place W2 1QJ
London, W2 1QJ United Kingdom
+ Google Map
£750

The 2-day training course will equip delegates with the practical skills and confidence to create effective podcasts for both internal/corporate and external/public communication campaigns. Information overload and fake news have had a negative impact on how people assimilate ideas and information. Long-form audio content in the form of a podcast is an ideal way to communicate complex information that can be listened to at work, whilst traveling or at home. Around 7.1 million people in the UK now listen to podcasts each week. That’s one in eight people and is an increase of 24% over the past year – and more than double over the past five years. Ofcom research found that half of the listeners have joined the podcast wave in the last two years, perhaps as a reaction against the "persistent noise" from fake news, click-bait journalism and social media algorithmic targeting.
